Overview
As a Legal Fellow with Partners in Justice International, Ms. Field conducts factual and legal research relating to situations where PJI works, or is considering working, and assists in providing support to local practitioners and survivors of human rights violations seeking accountability for grave crimes in their own countries’ courts.
Biography
Prior to joining PJI, Leah was an associate in the litigation and arbitration practices of an international law firm, where she also contributed to pro bono matters for NGOs advancing reproductive rights, gun violence prevention, and racial justice. As a law student, Leah interned for the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, was an Articles Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, and served as a law clerk to Maryland Supreme Court Judge Irma S. Raker. Her legal areas of interest include atrocity crimes accountability, business and human rights, and reproductive justice.
