OVERVIEW
As a Legal Intern with Partners in Justice International, Cidee Despi (she/her) assists the PJI legal team in every aspect of our practice. Her responsibilities include legal and factual research and writing, analyzing relevant political and legal issues in the countries where we work, and assisting with planning and executing trainings and other capacity-building work with local partners.
Biography
Ms. Despi is a JD candidate from the University of the Philippines. She has balanced law school with a career in sustainability and social impact. Having majored in writing for her undergraduate studies, she writes on the side. She writes cultural criticisms masked as confessionals for publications like the CNN Philippines Life, Cosmopolitan PH, the Philippine STAR among others.
