PJI is providing expert legal and investigative technical support to the Citizens Alliance for North Korean Human Rights (NKHR).

This support involves mentoring and capacity building for the process of gathering evidence of alleged international crimes committed in North Korea.

The evidence gathered pursuant to our case building methodology has enabled the Citizens Alliance to compile a body of strong evidence indicating patterns of grave violations of international law.  This body of evidence is being used as part of the Citizens Alliance’s advocacy campaigns, and ultimately will provide a strong foundation for a national or international accountability process.
