OVERVIEW

As a Legal Intern with Partners in Justice International, Ideal Dowling assists the PJI legal team in every aspect of our practice. Her responsibilities include legal and factual research and writing, analyzing relevant political and legal issues in the countries where we work, and assisting with planning and executing trainings and other capacity-building work with local partners.

Biography

Ms. Dowling is a rising third-year law student at Harvard Law School, where she has focused her course, clinical, and extracurricular work on international law and human rights. In addition to her desire to improve access to justice and to achieve remedies for victims of fundamental rights violations through her work at PJI, Ideal’s particular areas of interest at law school have included corporate accountability, transitional justice, and the intersection of climate change and human rights.
